How to Play

Simple Rules, Endless Deception

Step 1

Gather Your Friends

You need at least 3 players. One will be secretly assigned as The Impostor.

Step 2

Learn the Secret

Innocents see the secret word. The Impostor gets nothing (or just the category as a hint).

Step 3

Give Clues

Each player gives a one-word clue about the secret. Be subtle enough to not help the Impostor!

Step 4

Debate & Deduce

Discuss the clues. Who seemed suspicious? Who was too vague or too specific?

Step 5

Vote to Eliminate

Cast your vote. The player with the most votes is eliminated. Ties mean no one leaves.

Step 6

Win the Game

Innocents win by voting out the Impostor. The Impostor wins by surviving all 3 rounds.

Points System

Every Round Counts

Innocents

  • +2points for voting the Impostor each round
  • +10bonus if you voted correctly every round and the Impostor loses

The Impostor

  • +2points for each round survived
  • +10bonus for surviving all 3 rounds
